Patrick,

(Apparently Patrick or management has deleted the intervening response by Patrick, but I will leave my response here)

I find it odd that anyone would consider what is clearly a view on a subject, such as your e-mails, to be kept from being known to other posters. I have found all other posters to be up front about their beliefs and objectives.

As I responded to your even nastier e-mail, I will respond in like fashion here. I do not feel compelled to respond in like form as to the manner that you have.

At no point did you ever state that your view should be held private. Indeed you asked me to help you write a book on the subject and I told you I have no interest what-so-ever in religion. So I think your position is clearly understood now, as is mine.

What are your thought about the circle being finite and infinite at the same time?
Inexistence of zero doesn't exclude infinity. Their is other way to get infinit than 1/0 who is anyway prohibited. 1+1+... = inf

Not realy important but I just wanted to bring my two cents.

Ans:

1 - I have seen arguements that a circle was infinite. If that has to do with the unlimited continuation of the circumference, I disagree that it is infinite. It is finite defined by Pi. Go beyond that point and you are covering ground already counted.

On the other hand since Pi is not known to end (being over 1,000,000 decimal places without repeating cycle) oone can argue that the circumference is indeterminent but not infinite since the remaining finite values of decimal are getting smaller by the decade per digit.

2 - I strongly disagree with any assumption that "0" isn't reality physically.

3 - I would disagree that infinity has any physical reality.

4 - You cannot reach infinity by definition by sequential addittion or any other compounding sequence of mathematics.

i just like to answer to you and this goes back to the begining of this page, although i see this could apply to others as well.

the universe can of course be infinite because movement is infinite and movement is the essence of time.time is just a way to order knowledge and help our understanding of things.the universe does not "need" infinite time but what it does have is infinite movement.and this movement is based on substance, without substance there is no movement and of course no time.if i stop movement absolutely i can stop time absolutely, but this stopping of movement absolutely does not annihilate substance, it will still exist.and substance is the essence of our reality, it is what makes up the universe which we live in.and since substance can be infinite, movement can be infinite and therefore time can be infinite.(mathematics became because of substance, not substance became because of mathematics)

ANS: Please show me any reputable journal, physics book or text that says "Substance can be infinite".

referring to "authority" is no argument.isn't that contradiction of why we are here on this web site in the first place!anyway perhaps reading HALTON ARP'S SEEING RED,finding more information on COLD FUSION and applying perhaps the information that DR.PAULO CORREA & ALEXANDRA CORREA have done might help.now show me where anybody has contemplated this in the first place in "authority".
