My pareidolia knows no bounds.

Yes. In the marble tiles in my entry hall.

There is a naked girl there as well. She is 'posing' at an angle between 0 and 180.

I'm referring to when I first noticed them.

Since then I adjust my stance so they appear to be upright.

When I want to admire them.

It's all pareidolia. There's nothing new here.

Malcolm, I don't want you to get mad, because I really do enjoy this, but I always tend to assume you read everything here that came before you.

It ticked me off a tad when you mentioned that all this stuff was "nonsense" but I understand now your need to define this as pareidolia. So no, I'm not mad one little bit. These images show me there is something going on here besides randomness. Does anyone else see this imagery as "devilish"?

i found only this obvious (to me) devilish imagery in this one photograph out of all those i have taken.

It is interesting to me that my most popular image (published four times and sales at farmers market etc.) shows me it is popular because it most closely resembles what is taught in most art schools as showing what classical art form is. beyondpareidolia.shutterfly.com/1152

I have no "need" to define this as pareidolia, it does a pretty good job of it all by itself.

In a way though, I kind of wish you were here all along when this debate was raging and Tom, Neil, Jrich, and others were all discussing these things you're seeing in real time. That way you would have had a better understanding of the fact that you're not producing anything new, but rather going over the whole debate all over again.

Not that you shouldn't have a right to do it. Not at all. Have at it. I just think you're coming from the point of view that you're posting something new and wondrous, rather than re-hashing the same arguments that have been going on for a good 10 years.

In a way, it's sort of like we're watching re-runs of "The $10,000 Pyramid" where we know the outcome, but you're seeing the episodes for the first time, and they seem exciting and wondrous to you.

I once printed it on photographic paper, so I could show a friend what they looked like when printed, and it was really stunning. Considering I was working from a thumbnail that you have out there, it was very impressive. I can imagine what the originals must have looked like. Lila is rare in the sense that there is no doubt what we're looking at.
