Malcolm, look at it this way. You've created this elaborate fantasy around a HiRise image strip that you claim was a negative (you still haven't offered a theory on how that came to be). I show you why it's highly unlikely to be a negative and attempt to get confirmation from HiRise. You say it doesn't matter, nothing could shake you from your conclusion, not even the fact that they are based on a misconception.

I'd call that a religious belief system, because it's certainly not in the realm of science. But don't let me stop you. Have fun!

You mis-quote me, I said; nothing you can say that will deter my conclusion that there is life on Mars, this was not in context about the negative/positive image.

You are attempting to shoot the messenger here. Kindly stick to the prime directive.

And thanks, this is a lot of fun!

Malcolm,

That's a fairly serious accusation in these parts. I don't see it, but then unlike SOME Gods (that are still hiding in the closet mumbling faith ... faith) I do not claim to be infallible.

Can you point to anything specific?

If not, I believe an apology is in order.

Larry, if you don't see it, then what's the point.

Look if you want me off this forum, just come out and say it ok? I don't think it professional to label me with comments like "you've created this elaborate fantasy in the context that it is my religion.

This is condescending "speak" that borders on personal and is unprofessional.

Thank you,

Malcolm Scott
