Stoat- Truer than true, it's all germaine. It's always all part of Parmenides' oneness- till the cops show up. LOL. Dali's judge (after Dali threw a bathtub through a window) said "every artist had a right to defend his work to the limit." Yes i noticed the square in the image. The Parmenedian reactalights are far superior to the Hegalian, as the dual imagery of the latter cloud one's third eye.

But 3 has a clear mouth area and clearly defined chin, which 2 lacks. 3 also has a large eye socket, but no eye. If it ever existed, the eye was lost to erosion and to the eons. There is no doubt that if artificial, these faces are raised relief sculptures and not simply etchings.

The aproximate size of profile # 2 is 250 meters wide. Number 3 is around 400 meters wide. This is well within the range of many of the faces seen in the MGS MOC images.

Here's possible face no. 1. We see characteristics of pareidolia in that the face-like features diminish on close-up view. But some eye details are still apparent, as is the context of other similar faces in area (not yet shown).
Face # 1 small.

Face no. 1 is around 80 meters wide and is north oriented. Here are 2 and 3 again with histogram adjustment.

Note the <i>suggestion</i> of secondary features now visible in both 2 and 3, (eye, eyebrow, nostril, artistic shading, etc.); as opposed to <i>actual</i> secondary features in the much superior Cydonia Face (not shown).
