The quantum reality aspects. A lot is similar to what we were discussing here about the different types of reality (all(.

<b>[pareodoliac] "If we don't all agree we will have friction ... There is no friction in quantum reality which I propose we accept or we will have war and friction."</b>
Since we do have war, doesn't this falsify quantum reality?
and
A world where everyone agrees would be <u>horrible</u>. Yuch - pewey. Don't you realize that such a world can only happen at gun point.
Quantum physics is a lot like magic. Nothing happens 'til you look. And if two different people look, two different things can happen.
Last time I looked, that is NOT the way the world I live in works.

It's a free universe (at least until the Big Science and Big Government thugs take over), so if you want to believe these things I'm not going to try to stop you.
I just wonder why?

Merely my interpretation.
LB "Nothing happens 'til you look. And if two different people look, two different things can happen."
Yes two different things do happen in two minds. That is my reality. Only man creates inefficiency. It would be inefficient for a tree to fall without a perceiver. It's inefficient to perceive color unless we need to. We see in black and white unless we think about it then color pops in. The same with temperature. We don't feel cold at 25 degree F. unless we focus on it. From this viewpoint nature and reality operate quantumly.

I don't think you will function long at 25 F whether you focus on it or not. Especially if you are naked.

shando. O.K. maybe it requires a Satchitananda at 25 F. The point would have been more easily understood at let's say 50 F. The point was that one only consciously perceives what one focus on.

If the point were valid, it would be true at any temperature.
Reality is independent of our perception. But I suppose that is sort of your point. One can simply ignore - as in not perceive - the 25,000 degree nuclear fireball next door for as long as they desire. Or until they pffft!
Which ever comes first.
