Cute, but as I've been trying to explain to the pareidiliac guys for the past two years, it's real important to be able to verify sources of raw data images. The image provenance must be reliable and provable, otherwise, we don't know what we're looking at, really.

the "bigfoot looking" sculptured item is quite literally the only reality that was detected in that panoramic Image.. I just find that comical...

These images place the new find on more serious footing than Fox does. I'm guestimating that judging from the distance from the rover, perhaps 50-200 feet, the statue is 1-4 feet high. [Neil DeRosa]
