The problem for people with a low bandwidth internet connection is that each time
they open a page they are forced to download all pictures. This page (*) alone contains
3.5 MB of graphics. Imagine having to download the same 3.5 MB on a phoneline every
time you want to read or post a 1kB message.

Some browsers have the option to stop downloading pictures, but this has side effects (try it).
It's better just to post a link, I think, and let people decide for themselves if
they want to download the picture or not.

X, my cat thanks says, "Thank mew, X!" Her litter box just got cleaned, and the room it's in got vacuumed, while I was waiting for your pix to download all over again.

I am using a totally free ISP . I am usually connected at 46,666 baud; but they often put me on hold for several minutes between 2-second bursts of data. Depending on how busy the ISP is, I get fair to terrible service.

It's possible you got a double post because both of you were editing the same message at the same time. Otherwise, changes made by one of you would have been lost.

IE6 has the option:
Menu Extra/ Internet options/ Advanced tab/ Multimedia/ Uncheck 'show images'
Only placeholders are displayed which you can right-click to show the picture. Unfortunatly you lose the icons too.

Still I think it's better to post links instead of images unless it's a small schematic or something.

If you guys like to see images on mars. on the rover website look at the pic husband hill zoom in on the rocks in the background using preview and see how many faces, what looks like broken statues and art affacts that are in the rocks and on the ground my 7 year old picked out about 10.I almost fell out of my chair.one face even has a beard.

Mars is a "Planet" contructed artistically with a facial basis.. Not a Planet with art on it.. but a planet of Art..Many think there are thousands of researchers studying Mars.. Your seven year old is gifted, as you seem to be also.. 99.9% of researchers have no clue as to the reality of Mars.. As for any researchers that would like to debate this point I am quite ready and willing..

Husband hill has no special relevance as the art is continous on the planet surface..

Any Image studied with tampering and low resolution in mind will lead you to these conclusions.. I just recently began working on sol 627.. can u see any faces in here?

i see a little image,but im talking about sol 603 panoramic cam pic 6.in the middle of the pic to the right is a whole head as plain as the nose on your face.then when you look some more you will see wine bottles and other faces.to the left of the head you will see three figures in the rocks and halph of a head side ways above them.this is worth a look i now have family and friends looking and they all see it.
