What works best is a link in a post to a picture at your own (or another) web site. Just be careful not to follow the link with a period or comma because only a blank will end it. Here is an example that is automatically recognized as a link:
metaresearch.org
To embed a picture in a message is also possible, but not recommended because that makes the entire thread slow and difficult to download, especially for those with dial-up access. This could be done with the -img- and -/img- commands, with the external link between them. (Replace the dashes with square brackets. I can't do that here because it will assume that I am embedding an image.)
There is no way (known to me) that you can include a picture not already on a web site somewhere. -|Tom|-
