It's time to resuscitate this thread.

Fred, I want to start out by saying I understand what you've been saying. I know what the issue is, at least as it pertains to trying to "explain" your photos. They're pareidolia. That's the explanation. I have all the equipment now, and I've taken close to 200 pictures already.

Next, I want to remind everybody that one of the first ideas I put out on this thread was the notion that pareidolia was "personal". So, if I, or anyone else says, here's an image in which I think contains the face of Christopher Walken, there's no way anyone can ever prove I'm wrong. Sorry Tom, but that's the nature of pareidolia.

So......if someone wants to "measure an eye", or whatever, please feel free to do it. Don't ask me to do it, though, because I'm saying that the really "good" image in this pareidolia is in how we view it. It's the "gestalt" thing that JP Levasseur talked about in his dalmation demo.

I'm going to start posting pareidolic faces. I'll explain the face, but it's up to each of you to see it or not. This is not the kind of thing where someone measures an iris. You sit back in your chair, gaze, think about how we saw that scene at "Skullface", and see if you can see the image I'm saying is there.

Don't be cryptic. Afer you've posted 1000 pareidolic images, what do you hope we will have learned? -|Tom|-

But, it only took me about 3, so I wouldn't count on 1000 from me, any time soon.
