The December 15 MRB is off to the printer. It should be mailed near the end of next week, probably arriving just after New Years for most Members. It features a comprehensive review article on the exploded planet hypothesis, with special emphasis on how well its predictions have fared, and how such prediction successes both mark a theory as *useful* and distinguish a theory from all competitors.

If the mainstream had anything that worked half as well, there would be no need for organizations such as Meta Research. -|Tom|-

"The Challenge of the Exploded Planet Hypothesis" article in our December Bulletin has passed peer review and is scheduled to appear later this year in the International Journal of Astrobiology as part of the Proceedings of an international conference on Panspermia held in Wales last summer. The EPH is obviously a more efficient mechanism for spreading biogenic organisms than the old idea of intestellar comets. -|Tom|-

The 2007 March 15 issue of the MRB was delayed by my illness, but should be ready by this week-end. It will be published first as an open-access, web publication with color and a couple of videos, followed by a b&w print version with links to the on-line videos.

The feature article is titled "The violent history of Mars", and deals with the specifics of the Planet V/Mars/Body C scenario and the two explosions that shaped Mars as we know it today. -|Tom|-
