Intelligent activity ongoing in Hebes Chasma

Interesting, but not definitive.

This is the first time I've seen these pictures (they have been here for about 7 months). The instant I saw them my mind said 'artificial'. Especially the smaller one. (How can YOU not see that?)

But after some inspection I decided that they are after all natural. 90+% confidence. One cannot be sure without GOING THERE, of course.

Now this IS facinating. So tell me Larry, how long did it take you to going from "first glance of artificial" to "I decided they are natural" and what was it that had you going from this one view to another?

So we dismiss this as "natural"

Now, if this image was taken on a new "landscape" somewhere in an unkown area of mountains located on Earth, the obvious presumption is that they do look artificial.

Secondly, there is more than enough detail IF you are prepared to go right in close. This where the Hi Res monitor comes in handy. Also, if you do feel so inclined, I suggest using a virtual "loupe". One can only zoom in so far until the pixels distort.

Try it and you'll get the detail, it's there and quite compelling.
